National Merit Scholarships One of the many Honeywell
initiatives for our employees is the National Merit Scholarship
program. Each year, Honeywell Hometown Solutions underwrites
National Merit Scholarships for children of full-time Honeywell
employees. The Merit Scholarship Program is administered by
the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), an independent,
non-profit organization that identifies exceptional students

In order to participate in the program, high school age children
of Honeywell employees first take the PSAT/NMSQT during the
fall of their junior year of high school and then apply to NMSC
to compete for the scholarships. Honeywell Hometown Solutions
funds scholarships that range from $500-$2000 a year for up
to four years of undergraduate study or until a baccalaureate
degree is earned, which ever occurs first.
