The rules, guidelines, and application procedure for the 2004-2005 school year will not be available until September 1, 2004.

The Scholarship Application Form will be available in October 2004.

To prevent no-shows, each student or their troupe will be fined $25 if the student fails to either register for a time slot or fails to show up at the appointed time slot.

No senior will be allowed to audition without evidence of one of these test scores.

All scholarship applicants must be current, active members of the International Thespian Society.

SEMESTERS If Player is enrolled as a full-time student in a college on the quarter system, he shall be allowed two-thirds of the semester allowance in each quarter for covered expenses.

If Player is enrolled as a full-time student in a bi-semester or tri-semester system, he shall be allowed the full amount of the semester allowance in each semester for covered expenses.

Enrolled in a full-time course (minimum of ten credit hours if on a quarter system; or twelve credit hours if on a bi-semester or tri-semester system) at an accredited college or university.

The Commissioner shall reduce the maximum allowable reimbursement for the semester on a pro-rata basis for each credit hour taken in a part-time enrollment, based on a twelve hour semester system.

College Scholarship Program: To help further higher education among rural youth, FRS conducts an annual college scholarship program.

The scholarship selection committee will require each applicant to write an essay describing their plans after college graduation and will appreciate those indicating plans to return to their community.

"We are pleased to be able to substantially elevate our College Scholarship Program to not only reach more students, but also to provide a larger dollar award per student.

On May 1, 2003, FRS awarded fourteen $2000 scholarships to rural high school seniors, one per region of the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) membership and four at-large awards, given to students whose regions submit the largest number of applications.
