Chinese family and American family--

When suddenly transplanted into a new culture, one feels like a fish being out of water. However, if one can fuse deeply to the kind of new lifestyle and customs, he will be lucky and happy. Brian Ruckle, 32, a teacher of China Agriculture University married into a Chinese family and spoke to a class of 34 students Thursday at the East campus about the differences and similarities of American and Chinese culture. Brians Chinese family is made up of his Chinese wife-Amber, his wifes older brother, sister and parents. During his speech, he always said I m lucky; I love both of my families. American family is more affectionate and expresses individuals emotions directly. Even, every time he and his wife went home a little later, their parents always stood outside the door to wait for them, which had made him feel the deep and great love from his warm Chinese family. Brians American family often enjoy typical American food, especially, their family members are vegetarians.
